History
Once they said the Hebrew people could not play basketball and it was true. They stated that it was the obvious height disadvantage and lack of athletic ability. However they tried really, really, really hard! So one day the legends of the Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity designed the first ever Jewish basketball league...sadly they later realized there were in fact three Catholics in the league who would dominate their smaller counterparts. The man responsible for this abomination of poorly played hoops was Josh Pearlstein. The league came into being officially in the Spring of 2007. The following weeks of sweat and tears would prove brutal yet inspiring to those who attended...none attended. Inevitably one team stood above the rest, named after a temptress and overall lady of loose morals, Team Ilana Ashley was crowned champions (they had a Catholic too). Now the league spans twelve teams and promises to bring another season of excitement and thrills.
